That’s not the case, however, with Joico’s Texture Boost Dry Spray Wax ($18). One spritz of this hairspray/wax spray hybrid gave my wavy hair soft, moveable texture. The best part? It actually left my locks looking shiny, instead of dry and stiff like most texturizing products. I sprayed the formula directly into my next-day hair (another plus—no messy tub of paste or leftover residue on my fingers) and scrunched until I got the beachy, tousled look I wanted.
