Whoever said that you can't wear a bold lip and a bold eye at the same time has clearly never met Christina Hendricks. At Mad Men's Los Angeles premiere, everyone's favorite secretary—turned—partner rocked both a smoldering smoky eye and a pink lip with her vibrant, red locks—and looked drop dead gorgeous while doing it. According to makeup artist Vanessa Scali, Hendriks' chainmail skirt served as inspiration for the strong look.
As always, we couldn't keep our eyes off of Hendricks' striking lip color. We got the scoop from Scali, who explains that it was a two step process. First, she used Lancôme's Color Design Sensational Effects Lip Color ($23) in Red Haute as the base. Then she gave Hendricks' lips a dewy finish with the brand's newest Lip Lover Lipcolor ($23) in Bouquet Final. The result? Petal pink perfection!
