How much do we love Anna Kendrick? Let us count the ways. There’s her wonderfully-irreverent Twitter, her resume of films that never seem to get old (Pitch Perfect, Drinking Buddies, The Twilight Saga), and now she’s teamed up with Burt’s Bees and Lipstick Angels to help hospitalized women feel more beautiful.
“I can’t imagine how challenging it is to be in the hospital,” Kendrick told us. “I don’t even feel like a human being until I’ve had a cup of coffee and put on some eyeliner in the morning.” To help remedy that challenge, Burt's Bees and the emerging non-profit Lipstick Angels are partenering with the actress to give free personalized beauty services and makeup to recovering women. “I had a smile on my face the entire day,” the actress says about a recent day of makeovers at City of Hope outside Los Angeles. “It’s such a sweet charity.”
To kick off their Hive with a Heart Campaign, Burt’s Bees will donate two lip products to hospitalized women when you buy two anytime before June 30. To help spread the word, we chatted with Kendrick about all things beauty.
