
If "don't care" hair is the theme of NYFW—that is, our term for the effortless, haphazard styling we've seen at a majority of shows—the hairdo of choice at Michael Kors might be filed under "sorta care." Kors's aesthetic, after all, is typically ladylike: classic and All-American, for sure, but also put-together and feminine. The cascading, half-up hairstyle we saw backstage and on the runway at yesterday's show embodied this—the tousled, cascading locks (which were literally created to have a windswept desert feel) were balanced by a Kors-designed amber hairpiece that held the look in place.
