We'll never tire of a perfectly flicked cat-eye, but we also love options—especially when they’re subtle, edgy, and The Fifth Element-inspired. Enter: The graphic liner backstage at Rag & Bone’s F/W 15 show. The flick is barely visible, and the thick line extends past the lash line, then curves lightly underneath about a third of the way on the lower lid. In other words, business on top, party on the bottom—and we’re totally smitten. “She’s a bit Jean Seberg and Milla Jovovich in The Fifth Element,” lead makeup artist Gucci Westman says about this particular Rag & Bone girl. The three words she used to describe the look? Sporty, cool, and luxe. She used Nars Cosmetics products to create the graphic liner, bold brow, and dewy skin triple threat—most notably, the line’s Black Valley Eye Paint ($25) to draw the perfect (or rather, perfectly imperfect) line. Paired with sheer, creamy nude nails courtesy of Jin Soon Choi and her eponymous line’s polish in Nostalgia ($18), this is the perfect night-out look (picture it with a Rag & Bone leather jacket and ripped skinnies). We’ll be copying ASAP.
