Here’s reason number 542 why we love makeup: because even a drugstore product can look like a million bucks when applied the right way. Case in point? Kirsten Dunst’s perfect rosy glow at the New York premiere for her new movie, The Two Faces of January. First, makeup artist Pati Dubroff prepped Dunst’s skin with Tatcha’s Dewy Skin Mist ($48) and L’Oréal’s RevitaLift Miracle Blur ($25), which she applied only on her T-zone. Then, she used Cle de Peau Beauté’s Concealer ($70) in Beige to finish the airbrushed effect. Finally—ready for this kicker?—she gave Dunst just the right amount of rosiness with none other than Flower Beauty’s Win Some, Rouge Some Créme Blush ($8) in Pure Petunia.

“For Kirsten’s premiere, I worked off the very inspiring Chanel Couture dress she wore,” Dubroff says. “It was made of a neoprene type of fabric, which gave it structure, and had the most beautiful beadwork, which is where my palette was drawn from.” To finish off the glowy, ethereal look, she applied Chanel’s Rouge Allure ($35) in Radieuse on Dunst’s lips, a “pale pink to mimic the opal beads on the dress.” Petal-pink perfection.
