The vast majority of braid tutorials require either a master’s degree from braiding school or at least three hands to execute. We challenged celebrity stylist Jen Atkin (the women behind the tresses of stars like Jessica Alba, Khloe Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, and many more) to show us one that doesn’t. But no basic braid would do. We wanted a braid that looks impressive and complicated, but is actually remarkably easy to create. And thus, the romantic uneven braid was born. All you need is a bobby pin, a hair tie, and two hands.
